YOUR INCLUDED LEGACY FILM
A familiar laugh. A lesson passed down. An ordinary day your family still talks about. Your Legacy Film brings chosen memories into a personal story through narration, illustrated scenes, and family photographs.
Real images and illustrated memories are woven together around the stories you want to tell. Animation can give a visual form to a memory that was never recorded, with the style and details agreed with your family.
The initial film is included. Further film revisions are billed separately. Illustrated scenes are interpretations of family memories, not original recordings.
AT YOUR FAMILY’S PACE
You don’t have to gather a lifetime of memories all at once. We begin with the main memorial, guide the design together, and make room for the fuller story.
Begin with a question or a short carving request. A name, a favorite photograph, and an idea are enough to start the conversation. You can ask for guidance or send photos later. Submitting a request takes no payment.
We confirm the scope, total price, shipping, payment arrangements, and timing with you. You review a separate digital proof and approve the carving details before production. Fuller stories and film preferences can follow separately.
Your carving and memorial coin become physical reminders for your home and family. The photograph in your chosen sculpted frame can bring that same memory to work or another room. Your approved digital memorial and Legacy Film bring the selected stories together. Digital work can follow without delaying an otherwise approved carving.
You can start with a question. The fuller story can come later.
THE HEART BEHIND STORIED
Their whole story doesn’t fit on a plaque.
Before Storied Memorials had a name, there was a son who wanted to keep his dad’s story close.
Scott’s father encouraged his woodworking. While his dad was in the hospital, Scott created a carving he wanted to give him in person. His father passed away before he had the chance. Scott placed that piece in his father’s casket, then made another one for himself.
They had worked side by side installing office furniture, traveled for work, played poker, and sung karaoke together. His father taught him to use tools and take pride in doing a job well. Those ordinary days are part of what Scott wants people to remember.
While creating a memorial for his father, Scott began thinking about everything a name, a portrait, and two dates could leave untold. The places that mattered. The memories his family shared. The everyday details that made his dad who he was. He wanted those stories to have a place alongside the portrait.

That became the purpose of Storied Memorials: to help families preserve the stories, passions, values, and memories of the people they love, so those who come after them have something personal to return to.
That purpose guides each part of the memorial: a hardwood carving for your home, the actual photograph in a sculpted frame you can display at work or in another room, a memorial coin to keep close, and a digital page and Legacy Film for the stories behind the images. Together, they give your family different ways to remember and share what mattered.
Your family guides what is included, what stays private, and how your loved one is remembered. You can begin with a favorite photograph, a memory, or a question. The fuller story can come together in your own time.
Storied Memorials is preparing for launch. The product designs shown on this site illustrate the intended experience.
